The role sits within Formula E's social media operation and includes live race weekend gallery operations from a London broadcast facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily execution across core social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, X, Threads, Snapchat, YouTube and Facebook, maintaining an engaging always-on content calendar.
- Manage robust sign-off workflows across internal teams and external partners, serving as the final line of defence to eliminate socio-cultural, religious and political risks across a multi-region global footprint.
- Staff and manage digital gallery workflows from the London broadcast facility during race weekends, directing live race clipping, short-form video optimisation, reactive ideation and real-time publishing.
- Collaborate with the wider team to translate complex sporting, technical, cultural and sustainability stories into platform-native visual posts optimised for best practice and performance.
- Line-manage Social Media Execs, oversee community moderation, and partner with the Insights team to evaluate performance data and refine channel growth strategies.
- Maintain a seamless approval bridge between stakeholders, partners and trackside crews to ensure all content meets strict brand standards and platform best practices.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience managing social channels, editorial pipelines, multi-stakeholder sign-offs and socio-political risk mitigation across a global sports or entertainment brand.
- Demonstrated experience in fast-turnaround event publishing and live race clipping using tools such as Slate, WSC Sports, CapCut, Edits and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Outstanding short-form copywriting, platform algorithm awareness and cultural trend awareness to translate complex stories into viral, native content.
- Proven track record in line-managing direct reports, overseeing community moderation and navigating complex partner and rights-holder workflows with diplomacy and detail.
- Organised, creative and cool under live race-weekend pressure, adaptable across shift patterns, and a collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment with impeccable accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Digital gallery experience is preferred.
Workplace
