About the Role
Leads the definition and harmonisation of regional European Finance business processes as part of a strategic transformation programme and new operating model. It translates business strategy into system requirements for SAP S/4HANA, connected applications and BI reporting solutions, acting as the business process expert for assigned workstreams. The position coordinates business process testing to support successful solution deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, standardisation and harmonisation of Finance business processes across European markets, accounts and sales channels as part of the strategic transformation programme and new operating model.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align target processes, business rules and operating principles for the new operating model.
- Drive business decisions and secure formal sign-off from senior stakeholders.
- Own, govern and maintain Finance end-to-end business process documentation and standards.
- Translate business processes, policies and operating strategies into functional business requirements for SAP S/4HANA, connected applications and BI reporting solutions.
- Act as the business process expert and owner for assigned functional workstreams, defining, consolidating and prioritising regional business requirements for the future operating model.
- Serve as the primary liaison between local business teams, regional leadership and the project organisation to ensure business alignment throughout the transformation.
- Coordinate and lead business testing activities, including test preparation, execution, defect validation and retesting.
- Define end-to-end business test scenarios, test cases and acceptance criteria, and develop and maintain User Acceptance Testing covering core Finance processes.
- Collaborate closely with IT, implementation partners and business stakeholders to ensure test coverage, traceability and alignment with business requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Completed training as a certified accountant, or alternatively a bachelor's degree in finance.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
- Very good MS Office knowledge.
- Independent work and a structured way of working.
- High commitment and flexibility, service-oriented, reliable, and a team player.
- Analytical skills and a high affinity with numbers.
- Fluency in English.
- Cross-departmental thinking and communication.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in business process solution design and delivery is a plus.
- Experience with SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
