Senior Forklift Operator (Cherry Picker) - Weekend Shift

Sits within the Supply Chain & Sourcing team at a distribution centre, safely operating assigned powered industrial trucks and other powered equipment to move product around the site. The operator is responsible for accurately processing orders in and out of the distribution centre. The position works under forklift supervisors and leads, alongside operations shift management and other internal departments, on a weekend shift.

• Safely operate assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand-up order pickers/cherry pickers and other powered equipment to move product around the distribution centre, and use that equipment to pick and put away product efficiently and accurately as assigned by a supervisor.
• Utilise computerised warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products.
• Identify and communicate inventory exceptions to the leadership team.
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork.
• Train and work flexibly across multiple areas.
• Understand and apply health and safety guidelines and procedures, work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
• Identify, report and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns.
• Participate in Lean Six Sigma activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts.
• Ability to attain adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to order picker and reach truck.
• Basic maths skills.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Ability to reliably attend work and scheduled hours.
• Physically able to talk or hear, sit, stand or walk, and use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up to twelve (12) hours per day.
• Occasionally required to sit, bend, twist, climb or balance, lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds, and stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

• Weekend shift only, Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

• $27.50 Per hour.
