Job description
About the Role
Two Circles is recruiting a software engineer to join its global squad of software and data engineers building the Audience Intelligence Platform, the leading data management and analytics platform for the sports industry. The role centres on building the React frontend and.NET services that let teams, leagues and rights holders explore fan data, build audiences and act on insight, increasingly through AI-powered experiences. The engineer works in an AI-augmented way, using tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to ship faster and building AI features directly into the product, collaborating closely with product and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and test scalable React/TypeScript applications and.NET APIs (C#, ASP.NET Web API/MVC).
- Build AI-powered UI features such as natural-language audience building, conversational analytics, AI-generated insights and summaries, and smart recommendations.
- Design interfaces for AI interactions, including streaming responses, loading and error states, citations and confidence cues, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Build APIs that expose fan behaviour analytics to the UI and to AI services.
- Use AI coding assistants in daily workflow and help the team shape good practice around prompting, code review of AI-generated code, testing and guardrails.
- Work closely with product and marketing to turn data into high-value features.
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code with accessibility and performance in mind.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Strong React and TypeScript experience, including component architecture, state management, and performance.
- Strong HTML5 (semantic, accessible) and CSS3/SCSS (responsive, themeable) skills.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot or similar) in day-to-day development, with a clear view of their strengths and limits.
- CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI), prompt design, tool/function calling, or MCP.
- Experience implementing AI features in a UI: LLM-backed chat or copilots, generative UI, or AI-assisted search and filtering.
- Experience testing and evaluating non-deterministic features, and handling latency, cost, privacy and safety.
- Clear communication, including explaining blockers and timelines to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Strong C experience and experience building APIs in modern.NET (Core/6/8/10), with awareness of.NET Framework migration considerations.
- Attitude and the ability to learn quickly, as skills can be learned and AI is changing how the team builds software.
Workplace
- Hybrid work set-up
Benefits & Perks
- A benefits package chosen from a core monthly budget, allowing employees to build a comprehensive package to suit their lifestyle.
- 15 standard days of PTO, plus one birthday day, one admin day, one big life event day and one wellbeing day.
- Medical insurance covering the employee and up to five dependents, plus group term insurance.
- Performance reviews every six months with discretionary salary increases.
- Gym membership contribution or sport challenge contribution.
- Work-from-home set-up equipment allowance, valid up to the first six months of joining.
- Renowned team days held often throughout the year.
- Discretionary bonus based on company performance.
- Manager, team and individual training, including lunch and learns, brunch clubs and global huddles.
- Mobile and internet reimbursement.
The Application Process
