The Scottish FA exists to protect, develop and promote the game for everyone, at all levels – from grassroots to professional, and every kickabout in between.
We're committed to making the game exciting, open, relevant and accessible. This will empower even more people to play it, and enjoy the many ways football makes a difference to everyday lives.
Formed in 1873, the Scottish Football Association is the governing body of football in Scotland. Members include clubs in Scotland, affiliated national and local associations, and it is the second oldest national football association.
With 150 years' history and expertise, we don't just govern our national game, but we strive to grow it, develop and experience it to the full. Whether on or off the pitch, we believe in the power of football to transform people's lives, and build a united and successful game.
