Job responsibilities
Reporting to the Workforce Manager AUS/NZL, this role is responsible for assisting with the planning and delivery of Workforce Operations in an efficient, competent, discreet, and service oriented manner.
Job duties
- Act as the main point of contact at assigned Venue ensuring the Workforce experience for FWWC2023 employees is memorable and efficient from their first to last day onsite
- Plan all aspects and delivery of onsite Workforce inductions, Venue tours and Team meet and greets for new joiners in close collaboration with Venue Management
- Support in the distribution, set up and support of all technology required for Workforce
- Lead in desk space and meeting room management for all FWWC2023 events at assigned Venue
- As an extension of the Uniforms team, lead in the planning, organisation and distribution of all workforce uniforms onsite taking direction from the central Uniforms Team on its process
- General administrative support to the Workforce Team and Venue Management team onsite
- Update FIFA IT systems (IFES) as directed by the central Workforce Team
- Assist with the planning and implementation of Workforce operational processes, policies, and procedures for assigned Venue
- Produce reports, presentations and Workforce documents as and when required
- Lead in all aspects on Venue relating to Workforce experience such as Workforce Ticketing, Reward & Recognition initiatives, Communications, Engagement and Socials
- Collaborate closely with the central Workforce Team based in Sydney/Auckland, the FIFA Zurich Workforce team, FIFA Zurich Functional Areas and Australia/New Zealand functional areas
- Management of the direct report onsite in the role of the Workforce Experience Assistant
- Ensure efficient reporting and escalation to the central Workforce Team on any issues requiring support
- Assist with any tasks relating to de-briefs and surveys
Qualifications, experience and skills
- A minimum experience of 2 years in HR and/or Workforce; preferably with experience in major sporting events
- Knowledge of event planning and event project management processes a plus
- Proven track record in administering complex projects, preferably international sports events
- Strong planning, organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in Logistics welcomed
- A team player, willing to work to tight timelines
- Initiative and comfort with working autonomously
- Positive attitude, patience, and persistence
- Demonstrable attention to detail
- Demonstrate initiative and a strong focus on providing a high level of service
- Excellent time management skills and ability to balance competing priorities
- Experience or knowledge of local culture
- Strong IT skill including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English and other languages are an added benefit
