We are excited to be searching for a Women's Talent Pathway Operations Officer, who will provide excellent administration and operational support to the Women's England Talent Pathway Team.

 

Full Description

Unite the Game and Inspire the Nation through Winning England Teams.

We are excited to be searching for a Women's Talent Pathway Operations Officer, who will provide excellent administration and operational support to the Women's England Talent Pathway Team.

You will develop processes that support the identification and management of a wide and diverse pool of talent to ensure the best quality and quantity of players are available for England Teams.

This position is a fixed term contract that runs until September 2025.

What You'll Do?

  • To deliver key operational and administrative processes for the Women's England Talent Pathway.
  • To provide administration and operational support for all Women's England Talent Pathway events and activities including the FA Future Lionesses GK Centres.
  • To provide business support to five FA Regional Talent Managers and FA Regional TID Coaches.
  • To establish and maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure outstanding delivery of our pathway.
  • To effectively manage the onboarding, retention, and leavers process for the Women's England Talent Pathway Casual workforce.
  • To effectively manage the kit and equipment requests for FA Regional Talent Managers, FA Regional TID Coaches and FA Casual staff using the Warehouse Management system.
  • To effectively manage the Women's England Talent Pathway Payroll process for all FA Casual staff working with the team of Operational Officers to coordinate timely submission of expenses.
  • To support the Women's England Talent Pathway Operations Manager with timely information and data to support the delivery of the Women's England Talent Pathway.
  • To support processes that ensure all Women's England Talent Pathway player and event data is up to date and accurate.
  • To utilise key FA systems to support the co-ordination of Talent Team Meetings including room and accommodation bookings.
  • To provide administration and operational support to any Women's England Talent Pathway activity or programmes as appropriate.
  • To support the ongoing development and implementation of wider Women's Technical strategic priorities.
  • Executes additional tasks as required to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
  • As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

What You'll Need?

Essential for the role:

  • Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills.
  • Outstanding ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining data collection systems.
  • High-level people development skills and experience.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Ability to present information to support player development work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Advanced experience of Excel.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office.

Beneficial to have:

  • Knowledge of the women's game.
  • Basic Project Management skills.
  • Basic Analysis skills.

Please note, this role is advertised on a fixed-term basis up until September 2025.

Our Organisation

We currently work within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
