The Tournament Workforce Uniform Senior Specialist / Expert will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Workforce requirements (in particular Volunteers) for Uniform for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

• Collaborate with Host Country, and Q22 on the Workforce planning headcount for uniform planning, delivery and distribution
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, Q22, (if required) FIFA and suppliers on Uniform design, types, items, quantity, order and delivery
• Provide expertise and contribute to the uniforms design, stock management solution, stock and warehouse management, shelving concepts
• Engage with all relevant stakeholders (including Workforce, Accreditation and the system provider(s), ensuring the alignment of all relevant rules and policies with the system for the uniform order placement
• Develop an operations plan for delivery stage, including detailed deliverables, timeframes, budget, risk management, contingency plans and training of staff in collaboration with Training unit
• In consultation with Accreditation and Overlays ensure that the design and set up of the Uniform and Accreditation Centre is sufficient and adequate
• Plan and implement a post-Tournament Legacy and asset disposal plan for the excess uniforms
• Support and lead delivery of Uniform project for events prior to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in particular: organise multiple uniform related projects such as design, budget, purchase order and vendor selection, order delivery, stock inventory, operational planning for distribution, storage and utilisation post event


• Be part of an integrated team at the Uniform/Accreditation/Training centre
• Liaise with the team on the stock requirements for all types of operations and organise appropriate training to ensure accurate and formal exchange of information
• Setup and coordinate the flow of uniform distribution at UAC (Uniform Accreditation Centre)
• Responsible to generate statistical and logistical information with reference to uniform issuance, stock in-take and stock transfer
• Follow-up and provide information to technical aspects and required documentation, including coordination with stakeholder departments
• In cooperation with other delivery partners, ensure all Stock and Warehouse operations are performed as per the agreed KPI and to the industry standards; ensure stock movement between sub-inventories are performed punctually, comprehensively and accurately as required
• Ensure excellent customer service and standards are set and be able to run a consistent, pleasant, seamless and trouble-free environment
• Lead the Uniform team and guide them with day-to-day activities especially trouble points and situations that may require intervention in order to ensure smooth workflow


• Adapt to the needs of the role as per the SC evolution
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor directly related or relevant to the job
• Ensure the assigned responsibilities are delivered:
o to a high standard of quality and timeliness
o in full compliance with the SC Quality Policy and the Safety and Security rules and requirements
o in line with any standards and objectives designated in the Employee Performance Management system

Job Requirements

• University degree in Logistics, Project management, Event management
• Master’s Degree an additional asset
• 18+ years of professional experience
• 8+ years in managing uniform project in Major Sport Events; Airline, Retail, Hotel, Travel and Tourism projects experience can be considered as relevant experience
• Experience in major event in workforce management, logistics, with expertise in operational planning and delivery experience in large scale international sport events
• Experience with major market providers of Uniform (i.e. Nike, Adidas, Asics, etc.) is an advantage
• Experience in designing, planning inventory, warehousing, storekeeping and logistics management
• Working experience in Qatar, experience of working in the region and knowledge of local culture is an advantage
• Proven ability to manage clients and relations with multiple departments
• Excellent analytical and people management skills
• Flexibility and a related ability to work autonomously
• Team player, willing to work on tight timelines and pitch in when needed
• Positive attitude, patience and persistence
• Proven experience in working in a database environment
• Strong IT skills including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in English (Arabic language is an advantage)
