As Stakeholder Ticket Sales Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the Stakeholder Ticketing Sales Strategy for Women’s RWC 2025 set by World Rugby Events and Media. You will coordinate the sales and payment processes for up to 600 key clients including but not limited to Member Unions, Commercial Partners, Committee Members, Regional Associations and Workforce, and will manage both internal and external stakeholders to deliver on World Rugby’s contractual obligations as well as key audience and revenue objectives.

 

You will work collaboratively with various teams within WREM, World Rugby Federation and the LOC, such as Legal, Workforce, International Relations & Participation and Team & Rugby Services. Your work will be crucial to the overall success of our Women’s RWC 2025 vision.

Stakeholder Ticket Sales Manager (Women’s RWC England 2025 LOC)
FIXED-TERM CONTRACT UNTIL AUTUMN 2025
BASED IN WEBB ELLIS HOUSE, TWICKENHAM


Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 (Women’s RWC 2025) will be the 10th edition of the women's tournament.  World Rugby, in partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and UK Sport, have formed a Local Operating Company to plan and deliver the event.

 

Ambitions for the tournament are at an all-time high as women’s rugby is one of the fastest growing team sports in the world. Women’s RWC 2025 will be the ultimate stage for the best players, teams and coaches from 16 nations across the globe and is set to be the biggest and most widely watched women's rugby event ever. As Stakeholder Ticket Sales Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the Stakeholder Ticketing Sales Strategy for Women’s RWC 2025 set by World Rugby Events and Media. You will coordinate the sales and payment processes for up to 600 key clients including but not limited to Member Unions, Commercial Partners, Committee Members, Regional Associations and Workforce, and will manage both internal and external stakeholders to deliver on World Rugby’s contractual obligations as well as key audience and revenue objectives.

 

You will work collaboratively with various teams within WREM, World Rugby Federation and the LOC, such as Legal, Workforce, International Relations & Participation and Team & Rugby Services. Your work will be crucial to the overall success of our Women’s RWC 2025 vision.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for the sale of RWC 2025 tickets to all World Rugby Family members and key stakeholders.
  • Work with WREM and the Ticketing Service Provider to plan and manage each sales phase on the Client Ticket Portal.
  • Co-ordinate the creation of ticket communications to key stakeholders and handle any ongoing communications.
  • Respond via email and over the phone to all ticketing enquiries received from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce bespoke ticketing documents and collateral which will be shared with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with key individuals in order to facilitate ticketing priorities.
  • Responsible for the distribution of tickets to all World Rugby Family members and key stakeholders.
  • Provide assistance to the Head of Ticketing Sales in Events and Media including sales reporting, insights, recommendations on sales plans and processes.

 

Experience & knowledge you’ll need:

  • Experience of working within a ticketing function for a large scale organisation or major event.
  • Knowledge of ticket sales processes and systems.
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with the latest ticketing technologies.
  • Excellent client servicing skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Presenting to key clients.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
