Role: Sponsorship Sales Manager/Executive
Remuneration: £20-28k + commission & benefits


22 Marketing are looking to hire a Sponsorship Sales Specialist to work on our Rights Holder relationships and internal 22 sales objectives within the sports industry.
22 is a startup, looking for an entrepreneurial candidate to throw themselves into startup life, working closely with the CEO.
This an opportunity for the successful candidate to grow alongside the business and really take ownership of their role and shape it into their own.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Work with closely with the CEO to build up a sales pipeline
• Maintain excellent client relations at all times
• Attend regular calls and face to face meetings as necessary
• Run and monitor a range of rights holder related business projects
• Manage the 22 Marketing CRM system and build on an already exceptional contact base.
• Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients
• Build up a robust knowledge of all products and services 22 Marketing can provide to clients
• Management of freelancers and third party relationships

Knowledge and Experience
• Have at least 2 years experience in sales across the sports industry
• Proven track record of building strong client relationships at senior levels
• Experience in working in sport and/or sports rights
• Process driven with client first mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and entrepreneurial sports business
• Expertise in Sports rights
• Excellent knowledge in sport sector technology – both current and emerging
• Passionate and knowledgeable of sport in general
• Existing relationships with sports federations would be an advantage
• May also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

• Extremely strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Self-starter who is incredibly organised and hard working
• Excellent presentation and networking skills
• Solution-driven individual
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and to handle multiple simultaneous projects
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical mindset with ability to present concise and clear information
• Additional language skills

Qualifications and Training
• Educated to Degree Level standard or equivalent skills and knowledge

Aptitudes
• A true passion for and excellent understanding of the sport, media and gaming marketplaces
• Effective communicator with good presentation skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders across all levels of seniority
• A responsive and proactive individual looking to drive innovation in their field of expertise and the wider business.

Working Conditions
• This is a permanent position.
• Please note, remote working set up until company offices in London are procured
• Working hours are 9:00 – 17:30, Monday to Friday
• Occasional travel and weekend work may be required

Remuneration
• £20-28k, with a commission structure and benefits
