Security Coordinator - UEFA Champions League Final (UCLF) 2024
5 month Fixed Term Contract - January to June 2024
The Role
A great opportunity, working closely with our Security Manager to coordinate the safety, security and service planning on behalf of the Local Organising Structure for UEFA Champions League Final 2024 at Wembley Stadium, alongside key security partners and stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
- Work with key partners and stakeholders (UEFA, GLA, relevant agencies and others) on the policies, procedures and processes related to the safety and security of the event, including but not limited to entry into the key event areas on matchdays and non-matchdays for all target groups and spectators.
- Work with key stakeholders and delivery partners to deliver a safe and secure environment focussing on the security processes and resources required for all target groups at additional UCLF events and locations.
- Work with key stakeholders and delivery partners including UEFA, Local Organising Structure, GLA, relevant agencies and others to ensure the smooth process of staffing the event including checks and procedures to work.
- To become established as a key conduit for day-to-day communication between key stakeholders and partners and venues to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to safety and security of the event across event sites.
- Work with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure a joined-up approach to safety, progressing Safety, Security and Service as an ethos throughout the wider event planning.
- Implementation of security testing and readiness in conjunction with key delivery partners
- Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
- As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.
