Eurosport International and Discovery Communications are looking for a Sales Operations Manager within the International Advertising Sales Department in Paris to work alongside the APAC sales team selling mainly Eurosport platforms but also the rest of Discovery’s portfolio in selected Asian markets.
Responsibilities
The role will consist in representing the APAC sales teams in Paris HQs, relaying and following up their demands to central departments, coordinating the preparation of proposals and the delivery of integrated partnerships (based on content production mainly), supporting the APAC head of sales with the accounts he directly manages.
The role will also consist in regular travels to Asia to join client meetings and train the other members of the sales team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- The coordination, preparation and follow up of proposals, working in conjunction fellow team members in Asia to relay their demands to support functions and make sure the deadlines are met. The control that such proposals are in line with sales policy and availabilities.
- The management of 2 sales executives located in Asia in coordination with the Sales Directors, making sure that they receive the necessary guidance in the execution of their work and that they acquire all necessary skills and product knowledge.
- The internal coordination with support functions such as Marketing, TV offers, Digital, Production departments
- The management of commercial elements and branded content productions from brief to delivery
- The supervision of follow-up of campaigns and of post campaign reports
- Revenue and market analysis based on requests
Requirements
- 3+ years post-secondary education – business school - university or equivalent with a specialization in marketing and / or commercial.
- You have proven experience in an international environment and in the media sector.
- Fluency in English is required;
- You are proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint / Excel). You have an interest in offline and digital media and understand the processes of commercial content and advertising production.
