The Role

We are looking for a People Services Administrator to provide high impact, value adding HR support services to our managers, colleagues and the wider People team.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to play a pivotal role in supporting employees at all levels; you will be the first point of contact for our people and through practical lifecycle administration, you will ensure everyone gets a consistently brilliant experience with the People team.

Your day-to-day

  • Practical and transactional administration support - you will be across all system, electronic file and data management for new hires, changes, absence and leavers including the support of monthly payroll reporting and annual people routines
  • Query management - you will act as the first point of contact for all support and query resolutions, signposting to resources, process and policy guidance
  • Onboarding management - providing a smooth onboarding service for new joiners, supporting them through pre-starter checks, including DBS and right to work
  • Maintain employee information - managing and organising all employee information in our systems and files, ensuring that all employment records and processes are compliant with legal requirements and consistent with our culture
  • Partner with wider teams - supporting the People Partners and the Talent team with projects and administration as well as helping with case management including note taking
  • Invoice support - raising purchase orders, approving invoices and tracking spend

 

What we are looking for

  • People / HR background - you come with experience of providing proactive administrative support within a People/HR team
  • Passion for customer service - you have a genuine passion for helping others and working as a team with a customer service focus
  • Excellent communication - you will have strong verbal, written and face - to face communication skills
  • Accountability - you will have a strong sense of accountability and ownership of what you do ensuring a high level of confidentiality and an excellent eye for detail
