The Role:
The purpose of this role is to plan and deliver an integrated marketing and CRM strategy to reach, recruit and engage users of ITF World Tennis Number.
You will be responsible for delivering impactful and successful marketing campaigns that can be measured against consumer engagement, membership acquisition and retention. You have excellent, proactive project management skills, the ability to deliver a project and work across multiple functions and internal departments as well as international coordination with National and Regional Tennis Associations to support implementation in domestic markets. You will be adept at developing strong working relationships with stakeholders, you have a hands-on approach working in an international and fast-moving environment.
The Profile
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager with a proven track record delivering digital marketing campaigns and CRM strategy ideally within sport or for a similar global digital consumer platform.
Our ideal candidate has B2C and B2B marketing experience. You will be working with National and Regional Tennis Associations to support the marketing and implementation of ITF World Tennis Number in their markets and well as leading on direct-to-consumer marketing across ITF channels. The candidate will display a strong understanding of the tennis landscape.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for planning and delivery of ITF World Tennis Number B2C and B2B marketing campaigns
- Coordinate with ITF Communications team on Press Releases and global amplification of messaging at key newsworthy moments.
- Work alongside Commercial and Brand teams to protect and grow the ITF World Tennis Number brand
- Work alongside the Tennis Development teams to align ITF World Tennis Number with other ITF Tennis development and participation objectives.
- Provide direction and advise on spend of ITF World Tennis Number marketing budget
- Work alongside product developers to champion smooth, effective, and simple customer journeys for users
- ITF World Tennis Number brand guardian
Digital Marketing B2B
- Support the onboarding of National Associations through the provision of content, assets and marketing tactics with template toolkits as well as specific adaptations on demand
- Report and collaborate on NA customer data and trends such as tracking conversion rates from NA engagement to registration
- Manage and continuously improve the ITF World Tennis Number B2B marketing toolkit
- Liaise with nations to provide ongoing strategic support and guidance on communications and marketing activity
- Uphold and champion the brand guidelines and tone of voice for the platform, supplying approvals as appropriate
Digital Marketing B2C
- Plan and execute an integrated marketing strategy to promote the launch of ITF World Tennis Number, with the objective of engaging and converting tennis players to registered and regular users.
- Drive consumer awareness and acquisition in order to build an engaged community of users (continue to increase newsletter sign ups)
- Map and deliver connected customer journeys across website, social and email to maximise acquisition and retention.
- Plan and deliver email marketing strategy for existing and new customers using Microsoft Dynamics and DotDigital
- Use website CMS to maintain and update website with new relevant content to drive increased website traffic
- Work with social media managers to plan ITF World Tennis Number activity across social media to reach new audience and raise awareness
- Track performance and evaluate effectiveness of marketing activity, email campaigns, paid promotion, website traffic (Google Analytics) and SEO to inform future strategy
- Support and manage on-going production and delivery of creative content and marketing assets (with agency support)
- Monitor and report on competitor activity and community and market insight
Stakeholder management
- Responsible for overseeing day-to-day brand & marketing requirements of internal and external stakeholders
- Manage day-to-day agency relationships (e.g. data insights & Creative), to meet objectives and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate strategy and promotion in an inclusive manner, in full collaboration with internal ITF departments, including Communications, Commercial, Development, Brand and Circuits
- Engage effectively with all stakeholders, enable cross-functional collaboration and successfully manage diverse stakeholders

You will have…
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Proven experience developing and delivering digital marketing plans and campaigns
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Metrics-driven marketing approach with eye for creativity
- Experience with marketing automation and developing and using CRM platforms and tools – ideally Microsoft Dynamics
- Tried and tested planning skills – ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Integrity and accountability
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a professional approach
- First-rate decision-making and delegation skills
- Commercial awareness with diplomacy and tact too
- Sound knowledge of the current tennis landscape and good understanding of the industry dynamics
