We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst who will work across all areas of the group. While our offices are based in London, we’re flexible about remote working, so you can be based anywhere in the UK or Ireland. We’re continuously working to enhance the products and services we offer our customers, and data analysis ensures we make informed decisions to achieve this goal.

We encourage personal growth in this role and will provide training to support it.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support our Data team by carrying out ad-hoc analysis.
  • Assist senior team members during task discussion and planning, documenting requirements to ensure work can be completed to stakeholders’ satisfaction.
  • Understand the scope of our data, as well as its problems and limitations, to liaise with stakeholders about task feasibility.
  • Perform various aspects of data preparation, such as cleansing and formatting, to prepare for more complex analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on long-term analysis projects to deepen understanding of how the business operates.
  • Regularly present your work, insights, and suggestions for improvements.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in data visualisation and analysis.
  • Build strong working relationships with teams across the group to understand their needs in relation to business goals and objectives.

Requirements

        • A genuine passion for uncovering insights through data and a fascination with statistics.
        • Exceptional proficiency in manipulating and interpreting numerical data to extract meaningful conclusions.
        • An insatiable curiosity and a natural inclination towards problem-solving, always eager to explore new challenges.
        • Confident mastery of Google Sheets/Excel, transforming raw data into actionable insights with ease.
        • Proven experience captivating audiences with compelling presentations, even when introducing complex information to those unfamiliar with the subject matter.
        • A self-starter mentality, thriving in situations that require independent initiative and resourcefulness.
        • Outstanding communication skills, adept at conveying ideas succinctly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
        • Enthusiasm for immersing oneself in our business landscape and data ecosystem, embracing continuous learning and skill expansion.
        • Foundational knowledge of SQL, laying the groundwork for insightful data analysis.
        • A background in Mathematics/Statistics, providing a solid foundation for analytical exploration.
        • Hands-on familiarity with product analytics tools like Google Analytics and Amplitude, harnessing their capabilities to drive informed decision-making.
        • Proficiency in utilising data visualisation tools such as Google Data Studio and Tableau, transforming complex data sets into visually compelling narratives.

Benefits

The position will come with a competitive salary, bonus, 25 days holiday, Private Healthcare, and a great pension. We also give you your birthday off. We believe we have an amazing working environment and culture and hope you will too.
