FA Coach Mentor(s) - Diversity & Inclusion

We are recruiting FA Casual Coach Mentors - Diversity & Inclusion for the 2023/24 season.

The Football Association is looking to appoint FA Casual Coach Mentors to support the development of coaches from ethnically diverse communities in grassroots football.

As an FA Coach Mentor, you would be working on a casual basis for the 2023/24 season. You will each provide a number of hours of mentoring support, across the period.

Mentors will provide high-quality mentoring to support and develop more transformational coaches. Roles will be offered to support the following areas:

• Leicester
• Northamptonshire
• Norfolk / Huntingdonshire
• Gloucestershire
• Oxfordshire
• Durham

The aim of the Mentoring is to:

• Offer bespoke 1-1 support for coaches.
• Mentor and support coaches.
• Observe, provide feedback and create Individual action plans for coaches.
• Develop and deliver a programme of support for coaches across the 4 corners.
• Support coach development, ensuring coaches become more transformational in their approach.
• Support and develop reflection skills.

The mentoring programme will meet the needs of coaches at a local level, supporting our wider Fit for the Future Strategy. We now seek applications from perspective mentors with the right credentials, knowledge, skills attributes, and time to provide mentoring opportunities for coaches.
