Location – Stamford Bridge
Hours – Permanent – 35 hours, any 5 from 7

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for an Edit Assistant to provide day to day support with media management ensuring the flow, cataloguing and delivery of video assets throughout the production process is seamless. In addition there will be the requirement to support with and deliver edits along with content research, clipping and comping of footage for internal and third party use. Duties include:
• Receiving and ingesting footage from both internal and external partners
• Naming and cataloguing files with our Media Asset Management (MAM) systems
• Prepping and researching footage clip bins to editors and third parties as required
• Staying on top of relevant rights assigned to video content
• Uploading and sharing footage using Cloud delivery systems
• Supporting QC process on delivered files for publishing
• Supporting with subtitling content for digital and social channels
• Supporting wider editing team with tracking music used for wider reporting
• Logging content and live feeds
• First line Support and troubleshooting of internal software & hardware systems, raising issues to third party vendors where appropriate
• Basic editing tasks using both Avid & Premiere
• Archiving and retrieval of media from our LTO tape archive
• Editing cut downs and highlights videos as required

Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:
• Intermediate knowledge of various NLE systems (Adobe, Avid et al.)
• Experience and confidence with Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of various IT systems (Network Attached Storage, Windows, OSX etc)
• Solid IT skills covering Windows & Mac OS
• Confidence using editorial judgement to research and prep clips based on briefs from Producers desirable

Nice to Haves:
• Experience of media file transfer accelerators, such as Signiant and Aspera, would be advantageous, as would a sound knowledge of video codecs and formats
• Knowledge and interest in football desirable
• Knowledge of social media formats and editing standard methodology desirable
