We are looking for a highly coordinated e-commerce manager to develop and optimise our online platform whilst maintaining functionality, presentation, product availability and security. The e-commerce manager will be required to conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advise on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platforms, and monitor the effectiveness of retail strategies.

Contract: Full Time, 37.5 hours a week

Location: The City Ground, Nottingham, NG2 5FJ

We are looking for a highly coordinated e-commerce manager to develop and optimise our online platform whilst maintaining functionality, presentation, product availability and security. The e-commerce manager will be required to conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advise on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platforms, and monitor the effectiveness of retail strategies.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain the e-commerce website to generate sales.
    • Explore/implement new activities and opportunities that contribute to growth.
    • Manage and monitor website security and compliance.
    • Plan and schedule seasonal/yearly product launches.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute marketing campaigns.
    • Manage customer service (taking calls/emails).
    • Manage and create content including product creation, photography and design.
    • Actively look for ways to continuously evolve website for best user experience and conversions.
    • Monitor and review courier costs and service levels.
    • Review site metrics to improve sales and identify trends.

 

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

    • Extensive retail experience, specifically in a multi-channel environment
    • HTML, CSS Knowledge
    • Photoshop, illustrator skills
    • Confident in product photography
    • Knowledge of WMS, CMS systems
    • Ability to adapt to new systems and software
    • Have experience in developing a retail sales strategy
    • Will be self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook
    • Possess great communication skills with senior management, the retail team and customers
    • Have a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under pressure, multi-task and feel happiest working in a fast-moving environment
    • To have a strong work ethic, and desire to achieve in the role
