THE ROLE

Leverage experience and understanding of domestic partner requirements, French market and expertise in all facets of hospitality operations to develop optimal framework, build strong relationships, develop innovative assets and programs, and maximize sales and satisfaction with these constituent groups, all toward the goal of building a successful Olympic Hospitality partnership. Fixed term for Paris 2024 with flexibility to extend to multiple Games. Works in close collaboration with OCOG MPS team, IOC TMS team, OL Commercial Sales and OL Operations and operational functions within the OCOGs including IVH/OVH, ticketing, accommodations, transport, accreditation, and cross-functional support teams as needed.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILTIES

  • On Location point of contact for domestic marketing partners, domestic broadcasters and regional offices for specific TOPs (domestic stakeholders).
  • Work in close collaboration with functional areas across Paris-based On Location team and global On Location team.
  • Assist Senior Director with conceptualizing, designing, monetizing new / bundled assets and programs to align with domestic stakeholder needs, demand and satisfaction.
  • Drive business development efforts targeting domestic stakeholders to maximize Olympic commercial opportunity, including development of targeted services, bespoke hospitality products and management of turn-key programs.
  • Closely collaborate with OCOGs, IOC, IPC to ensure best services offering and delivery in the context of the Games event delivery model.
  • Ensure successful operational delivery of all domestic stakeholder assets managed by On Location, including identifying and managing incremental hospitality assets requests and need.
  • Collaborate with Paris 2024 MPS and Paris 2024 Operational FA’s to facilitate delivery of all contractual rights as required.
  • Provide critical input to technology offerings and systems to be utilized by these domestic stakeholders or in the servicing of their needs, including the Stakeholder Services Portal.
  • Manage potential integration of domestic stakeholder assets and programs with other activations and functions including showcasing, live sites, OTR, GTE, Cultural Olympiad, digital, concessions, merchandising, sustainability, community programs and others as determined.
  • Assist Senior Director with management of partnerships with these key domestic stakeholders to leverage their resources, products and expertise and facilitate planning.
  • Develop and implement master communications, marketing and sales plans for domestic stakeholders.
  • Develop budgets and provide input to domestic stakeholders to inform their internal budgeting processes.
  • Liaise with Paris 2024 and IOC to determine asset segmentation and allocations for domestic stakeholders.
  • Liaise with legal related to all domestic stakeholder contracts.

Travel

Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays. This position will be based in Paris and will require domestic travel and occasional international travel from now through Games execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Experience in a management position within marketing, sales, and/or global hospitality and events (minimum of 5+ years) in the sports, media, and entertainment industry.
  • Expertise and deep understanding of domestic stakeholders in France.
  • Strong global sports experience (preferably Olympic Games).
  • Strong hospitality experience (preferably Olympic Games).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, marketing and sales skills.
  • Strong relationships within events community in France.
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Bi-Lingual (French and English a minimum requirement – multi-lingual preferred)
