Seven League is a fast-growing digital sports agency. The company was founded in 2011 and has since grown to over 50 full-time staff with additional associates in 14 European countries. Seven League is part of the Endeavor Group which is a global sports business and includes companies such as IMG, UFC and 160/90.

We have a wide range of clients, national and international, reaching all sectors of the sports business including the NFL, FIFA, Spurs, LCFC, the NBA, the NHL, Sport England and England Netball.

Seven League are looking for someone to be responsible for effectively gathering requirements, fulfilling business needs and staying on task and on budget. This position is responsible for being the liaison between development and business teams, focused on managing budgets, timelines and overseeing resources. In this position, a successful candidate will need to build and maintain positive and successful relationships across the organisation, identifying clear targets and timelines for work streams that deliver the digital vision, strategy and roadmap for Rugby League. In addition, they will work with the digital team to support and shape the overall SEO and PPC strategy to help maximise commercial performance across social, web and app.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • In conjunction with the account director, own and drive the client digital vision, strategy and roadmap. Ensure that all digital activity is centered around a fan first, commercial and insight driven approach.
  • Build and maintain a roadmap to enable the strategy and long-term vision across omni-channel touch points, partnering with all digital and revenue teams to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Measure channel and KPI performance across agreed forecasted metrics and report to leadership team, proactively recommending actions to ensure growth targets are achieved.
  • Develop a marketing - tech stack framework to drive digital sales and monetise the customer base.
  • Evaluate new innovation opportunities and propositions that will create future growth and transformation across all digital channels.
  • Collaborate with Marketing leadership to bring Marketing strategy and briefs to life through new digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely across teams and channel leads for organic social, newsletter, affiliate
  • Support and shape overall SEO and PPC strategies to help maximise commercial performance across social, web and app.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills to project lead the digital transformation of the Rugby League. You will be responsible for managing all digital work streams, working on timelines and KPI reporting to ensure the project is delivered on time.
  • You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Data driven, with proven experience in multi-channel marketing
  • Budget maintenance
  • Organising and managing projects efficiently
  • Worked within a creative environment
  • Working with multiple stakeholders and agencies
  • Experience in managing projects, marketing campaigns and working with analytical tools to extract the necessary data needed to make key decisions
  • Reputation for building strong partnerships across cross-functional teams

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluency in PPC, including, but not limited to;
  • Social: Facebook/Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Search: Google, Bing
  • App Store: Apple and Google Play
  • Strong understanding of SEO and ASO
  • Ability to manage and report on campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with fluency in Excel and data manipulation
  • Flexible, and eager to drive change. A team player who is accountable and flexible.
  • Big picture thinker with the ability to execute.
  • Passion for data and will be comfortable working with large data sets
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Comfortable working with a design team and cross teams
  • Ability to present upwards to management
  • Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to work across a variety of channels and brands simultaneously

Technical Skills

  • Multi-project management skills
  • Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills
  • Experience with 3rd party tracking and reporting tools is a big plus
  • Ability to stay up to date with digital media and client category updates
  • Strong understanding of digital media, marketing and web metrics
  • Experience in a media or agency setting a plus

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent position.
  • Please note this role will be based at our offices in Islington, London.
  • Working hours are 9:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
  • May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other Company buildings and meetings
  • Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule
  • Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
