The Digital Content Executive reports to the Digital Content Editor. The Marketing & Commercial Team delivers work enviable of enviable of any sport governing body. The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day delivery of editorial content for a variety of audiences across both our website and Advantage membership platform of over 1 million people.

Primary responsibilities to encompass:

  • Day-to-day production and delivery of editorial content across a multitude of remits
  • Creative idea generation across all LTA channels
  • Supporting digital and editorial coverage of live events
  • Copywriting and content design across all digital platforms to improve user experience and implement the LTA’s tone of voice
  • Supporting digital analytics and reporting

About the LTA

The LTA is the National Governing Body of tennis for Great Britain. We are here to govern and grow tennis, from grassroots participation through to the professional game. Our vision for the sport is Tennis Opened Up. We’re working towards a future where tennis is truly a sport for all. All ages, all backgrounds, all levels of fitness. About the Team

The Marketing & Commercial Team exists to help change perceptions of tennis, to broaden the relevance and increase the visibility all year round, in order to grow participation and fan engagement while also growing the adoption of Padel in Britain.

Brand Marketing team seeks to do this by:

  • Developing and executing a new fit for purpose brand for tennis
  • Building content and communications that increase levels of fan engagement, drive participation and win back lapsed players
  • Working alongside our commercial team to delivering a brand partner strategy to develop and maximise our assets

About the role

Primary responsibilities to encompass:

  • Day-to-day production and delivery of editorial content across a multitude of remits
  • Creative idea generation across all LTA channels
  • Supporting digital and editorial coverage of live events
  • Copywriting and content design across all digital platforms to improve user experience and implement the LTA’s tone of voice
  • Supporting digital analytics and reporting

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the production and delivery of engaging editorial content across LTA digital channels for a wide range of audiences (D2C and B2B).
  • Work with the Digital Content Editor on the planning and delivery of an editorial calendar throughout the year for both the website and membership platform
  • Liaise with other members of the LTA content team on the planning and delivery of content specific to our digital channels and to create innovative solutions to housing other key features across our site.
  • Generation of original ideas for social and digital channels – with a particular focus on fan and player engagement
  • Ownership on key areas and components of the website – providing regular updates to keep content as up-to-the-minute as possible
  • In collaboration with LTA’s SEO agency, create and execute content in all forms that is optimised for search, social media and other key syndication platforms
  • Support the development and implementation of a strategy to include more interactive content formats on our digital channels (e.g. quizzes, polls, etc)
  • Enhance awareness and reputation of LTA brand, increase value of LTA Advantage proposition and for our commercial partners
  • Deliver best-in-class content to support the live coverage of tennis events across the full calendar – with an emphasis on the pre-Wimbledon grass court season as well as the Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup and Grand Slams
  • Support on digital reporting and analytics to make informed decisions on content development
