Embedded in the Logistics team, the Deputy Site Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of the overall Venue Logistics operations at a dedicated stadium for the upcoming Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Specifically, this role is responsible for the implementation of all Logistics operations within the stadium. This role will also be responsible for coordination with Qatar 2022 Functions and suppliers to maintain an integrated supply chain to ensure effective back of house operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Venue Planning / Preparation
- Assist with the delivery of bump-in, re-supply, and bump-out operations of your venue
- Management of receiving and distribution of Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E)
- Support with management of asset tracking, distribution within venue, setup/breakdown of spaces and return materials post tournament
- Coordinate and organise daily venue activities and execute logistics operations in accordance with daily timelines
- Support with the management, motivation, training, and support of logistics crew and conduct at logistics team daily briefings
- Maintain plans to fulfil Qatar 2022 FIFA FWC sustainability commitment of minimizing waste and maximizing revenue through the effective post-event dissolution of assets
- Support with maintaining workplace health and safety protocols
Venue Execution/Operations
- Support with implementation of the Logistics operational plans, policies and procedures across bump-in/out, re-supply and dissolution phases
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain the agreed Logistics service levels at your venue
- Support with manage the receipt, storage, distribution, resupply, and recovery of Q22 assets and equipment at the venues during bump-in/out and tournament time
- Maintain daily/weekly logistics situational reporting
Qualifications and experience:
- 1-2 years' experience in international sporting events specifically in Venue Logistics
- Experience in Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, FIFA FWC, European Games, Olympic Games or Pan Am Games will receive strong consideration
- Experience or knowledge of events within this region is an added benefit
- Strong IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Fluency in English required, Arabic and additional languages are an added benefit
- A team player with a strong customer service focus, comfortable in both upward/downward communication and a desire to go the extra mile
- Ability to present and clearly communicate to audiences in a multitude of public/private settings, as required
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, multi-tasking, and prioritization of tasks and deliverables
- Willing to work to complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude; exhibiting patience, persistence and experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to make decisions both independently and within a team environment
- Extremely high attention to detail.
