Coordinator, Major Events (FTC until 31st August 2024)
We are looking for an experienced individual to assist the events team with administrative support for the Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup, and the 2024 Paris Olympics. You will have strong administration skills and the ability to work under pressure and to strict guidelines.
This is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2024 and no travel is involved with this role.

Overview of Department:
Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup are the two main properties of the ITF. These two competitions are the largest annual national team events in sport. The department also incorporates and is responsible for the Olympic and Paralympic Tennis events. It is the role of the Major Events department to work closely with National Associations (NAs) to ensure that we deliver world-class events that are seen as essential to players, nations and media. The Major Events team ensure that these events are organised to the same high sporting and competition standards everywhere in the world and that the contractual rights of the international sponsors are efficiently delivered.
Responsibilities:
Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup Competitions
- Manage the process of player nominations for all Competitions, including verifying participation eligibility
- Manage annual entries of the National Associations for each Competition
- Liaise with Finance to process payments from National Associations
- Create fact sheets for the events
- Coordinate overseas site visits and team attendance at events including booking international travel
- Working strictly within the allocated department budget
- Support the team on correspondence with all stakeholders for events
- Arrange production and distribution of plaques and medals for National Associations and players competing in the regional group events and Finals.
Paris Olympics 2024
- Manage accommodation and ticketing for National Associations including the allocation and distribution of tickets, payments etc
- Point of contact for the Technical Officials (arranging travel, ordering uniform, and dealing with general queries
- Manage the Paris 2024 accreditation process for all ITF stakeholders attending the Games, collecting individual details, record keeping, and database management

You will have....
- Experience of providing first class administration
- Excellent Microsoft skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience booking and arranging international travel for large numbers and complex itineraries
- Languages, particularly Spanish and / or French would be beneficial
- Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
- Excellent time management, skilled in delivery of multiple projects and delivering to hard deadlines
