Kin Partners is one of the leading new talent and creative IP companies in sports entertainment.

We’re looking for a Commercial Partnerships Director to join a thriving sales team responsible for brokering commercial deals on behalf of world class sports individuals and properties. The Commercial Partnerships Director will have strong sales experience and a network of high-level brand contacts across multiple industries and territories.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Sales

  • To identify and approach brands to open new sponsorship and partnership conversations
  • Use your experience and expertise to progress conversations to contract stage, overseeing the negotiations to signature and close
  • Have a committed and cool-headed approach to the sales process
  • To enjoy working cohesively within a team but with the initiative and entrepreneurial ability to source a sales lead alone
  • To undertake overseas travel to generate new leads and open up new markets and opportunities
  • Ability to create and develop new sales materials

Leadership

  • As second in command of the sales team you would lead by example and support junior sales team members on their leads and negotiations
  • To create and sustain a positive working relationship between brand sponsors and our clients
  • Identify talent, rights holders and properties the sales team could look to represent in the future
  • Support the Head of Commercial Partnerships and Executive team to create new pitch documents
  • Have a high level of comfort presenting to potential new clients

Key areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • 8+ years’ experience in sponsorship sales
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Proven track record of deals across multiple properties
  • Existing strong & influential brand relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, humble hands-on mentality
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English; additional languages would be a plus
