We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join the Strategy & Business Development team at our HQ in Zug as of January 2022 (or earlier).

The Strategy & Business development team plays a pivotal role to drive increased value by applying industry experience with proactive deal making to achieve strategic objectives and drive corporate growth. The team is tasked with creating value on a long-term basis, helping maintain the company’s competitive advantages, and achieving its strategic objectives by (i) identifying growth opportunities, (ii) evaluating organic growth projects, acquisitions, partnerships, investments and other transactions, (iii) manage deal executions and integration processes and (iv) supporting internal projects and strategic evaluations.

We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join the Strategy & Business Development team at our HQ in Zug as of January 2022 (or earlier).

The team is tasked with creating value on a long-term basis, helping maintain the company’s competitive advantages, and achieving its strategic objectives by (i) identifying growth opportunities, (ii) evaluating organic growth projects, acquisitions, partnerships, investments and other transactions, (iii) manage deal executions and integration processes and (iv) supporting internal projects and strategic evaluations.

Job Requirements

In this role you will be involved in all aspects of the Group Business Development, from managing and executing present business opportunities to conception, development and evaluation of new business opportunities and areas. You will also:

  • Develop financial models to assess new business opportunities and M&A projects
  • Support the business units and group companies in determination of optimal partnership structures, drafting of offer documents and negotiation of agreements
  • Manage projects with various work streams with involvement of multiple internal departments and stakeholders
  • Regular review of external market forces potentially impacting Infront’s business or position and development of new business models/ideas thereof
  • Create presentations and approval documentation for review and decision by Infront's board members and senior management team
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Infront's top and senior management, the other business development team members and the finance/legal teams
  • Support of the Head of Strategy & Business Development for special projects, as required
  • Ensure continuous improvements of business development processes, tools and templates by contributing own ideas and sharing knowledge

Educational Background:

  • Advanced education (university degree required; Master's degree preferred)

Required skills and competences:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in sports, in consulting or in corporate finance
  • Proven project management skills and ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects with tight deadlines
  • Advanced experience and passion for financial analysis, modelling and valuation
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of accounting and finance
  • Knowledge and understanding of (digital) business models in sports preferred
  • Holistic thinking with the ability to see the big picture and recognize interdependencies, patterns and the implications on the overall objective
  • Commitment towards high quality, excellence in delivery and client-oriented thinking
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability in developing materials and effectively presenting to executive audiences
  • Intellectual curiosity with strong desire and a willingness to explore and experiment in order to learn
  • Analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint are a must
