Programme overview
The BA (Hons) Esports Top Up will give you the opportunity to create business plans to build teams and create online communities and promote esports events through digital marketing. You’ll also explore the culture of esports, its audience and fan base as well as a variety of the most popular current game genres. As the sector grows, the ethical and legislative regulations are trying to keep pace and you’ll learn how these issues are affecting the esports environment.
You will benefit from a mixture of theoretical input but also the links between theory and practice to ensure the relevance of your studies to employability. This means you’ll develop solid business principles alongside contemporary sector knowledge, and plenty of hands-on experience working in areas related to your field of study. Our strong links with employers, professional and trade associations, representing a range of business environments across the hospitality and tourism sectors, will provide you with a practical and outstanding student experience.
