THE JOB

Reporting to the Head Wushu Coach, the Assistant Wushu Coach will be responsible for the following duties:

To help coordinate, design, and implement training programmes for wushu elite athletes in Hong Kong especially sanshou group;
To fully utilize and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite training outcomes;
To assist with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to local and overseas squad training and competitions;
To assist the HKSI and Hong Kong Wushu Union in implementing programmes related to talent Identification, coach education and althlete promotion programmes; and
To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.

THE REQUIREMENTS

University degree or post-secondary Certificate/ Diploma, or its equivalent;
Holder of a valid coaching certificate issued by relevant governing body;
A minimum of 2 years’ professional coaching experience in WUSHU (Sanshou);
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
High level of computer literacy; and
Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

主要職責

助理武術教練須向武術總教練匯報工作情況，其職責詳列如下：

負責協助籌劃、設計及執行香港訓武術運動員訓練計劃，主力為散手組；
在進行精英訓練計劃時，善用所有運動科學、醫療及其他為運動員而設的支援服務，以加強訓練成果；
在安排運動員於本地及海外集訓或比賽時，須協助統籌有關行政管理、後勤、會計及資源分配等工作；
協助體育學院及香港武術聯會的運動員選材、教練培訓及運動員推廣工作；及
履行由上司指派的其他工作任務。

職位要求

大學學位或大專證書/文憑，或同等學歷；
持有由相關管理機構頒發的教練証書資歷；
具備最少兩年武術(散手)專業教練經驗；
具備良好溝通能力及人際關係；
熟悉電腦操作；及
認識香港保護兒童、平等機會政策為佳。
