The Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited (“HKSI”) is the Government’s delivery agent of elite sports training systems. THE JOB

Reporting to the Head Cycling Coach, the Mechanic will be responsible for the following duties:

To be responsible for the mechanic work during training and competitions;
To repair and maintain the cycling equipment in good condition;
To assist the elite training of the Hong Kong Team athletes; and
To follow the Hong Kong Team to local and overseas squad training and competitions in irregular hours or holidays.

THE REQUIREMENTS

University degree or post-secondary Certificate/ Diploma, or its equivalent;
Holder of a recognized coaching qualification equivalent to Hong Kong Coach Accreditation Programme Level 2 Certificate;
Holder of mechanic certificate or proof of mechanic employment from cycling team;
Holder of Driving License Class 1 & 2 ;
Basic knowledge of computer operation; and
Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

助理單車教練

主要職責

在單車總教練的監督下，單車機械師須向單車教練匯報工作情況，其職責詳列如下：

在訓練及比賽期間擔任機械師工作；
負責維修及保養專項單車和其他相關器材；
協助精英運動員訓練；及
l隨港隊到海外訓練及比賽，並須不定時或假期工作。

職位要求

大學學位或大專證書/文憑，或同等學歷；
持有等同香港教練級別評定計劃第二級教練証書的資歷；
具備機械師培訓證書或單車隊機械師工作證明；
持有1、2號駕駛執照；
熟悉基本電腦操作；及
認識香港保護兒童及平等機會政策為佳。
