The (Senior) Marketing Manager will be a key member of the WWE Europe Marketing and Communications team. This role will activate key regional business partnerships and collaborate with the International Marketing Team to localize and implement highly effective brand, online marketing and promotional strategies for all lines of business including TV, WWE Network, Consumer Products/Licensing, Live Events and Digital.  The role is hands-on and requires consistent delivery against measurable brand metrics as well as growing the company’s brand messaging and fan engagement. Key markets: Southern Europe and Developing Markets in Europe. This role reports into the Marketing Director, Europe and Africa with country-specific responsibilities determined by Marketing Director.



  • Build, implement and activate local marketing campaigns across all marketing channels, adapted from WWE’s global marketing strategy, with the goal of meeting WWE’s local organizational objectives in the European region; deliver against set measurable brand metrics
  • Support local marketing and business efforts of all relevant WWE business lines, most importantly Live Event, WWE Network, Consumer Products, Content & Media Distribution, Sponsorship Sales/Management.
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with TV partners support their marketing needs for WWE programming and guide them on executing TV partner marketing initiatives
  • Support day-to-day marketing support for our local and global licensing partner.
    • Manage existing and establish new dynamic and effective marketing partnerships with regional partners
    • Adapt and localize marketing campaign assets (online and offline assets including graphic design, video production and digital/web/social assets development) based on local market needs
    • Collaborate with Data Analytics team to remain constantly up-to-date on audience measurement, market and consumer research/intelligence and to have an understanding across all media platforms

Communication and PR:

  • Provide tactical and operational support to the Communications team for the implementation of the regional PR strategy, incl. assistance on press releases, presentations, PR events, conferences and co-management of local PR agencies

Community Relations:

  • Provide tactical and operational support to the Community Relations team and initiate/deliver regionally and nationally relevant community projects

Social Media & Digital:

  • Work closely with the regional social/digital managers and the headquarters teams to create an effective localized content and social strategy to grow/engage the WWE fan base in Europe
  • Plan and execute paid social and digital campaigns to support WWE brand and business lines

Project & Event Management:

  • Activate and manage Live Events and other WWE Talent-based events across Europe, this includes:
    • Organize business events, such as B2B presentations and hospitality events for partners
    • Define and coordinate WWE presence at the venues and around B2B/hospitality events
    • Collaboration with PR and Consumer Product team to define brand and business relevant activations with WWE talent
    • Organize talent market visits and maximize their presence to meet marketing and business goals
  • Manage and implement brand, marketing, communications, consumer insights and community relations projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage WWE’s regional marketing budget under Marketing Director’s supervision


  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Brand/Marketing experience in Europe within the TV, entertainment, digital and/or sports industries or related agency experience
  • Solid knowledge of cross platform marketing mix
  • Demonstrated experience in executing marketing and live events campaigns
  • Experience in project and partner management with an ability to operate with a high level of autonomy
  • Well experienced in recognizing and knowing consumer/brand/media trends
  • Work experience in and knowledge/understanding of the European market(s)
  • Experienced in using computer software to aid in the development of creative marketing material with a proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proactive personality, skilled at juggling multiple responsibilities and large volumes of work
  • Hands-on manager that thrives in a dynamic environment with limited resources who can effectively adapt to change and prioritize
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and work constructively with peers, supervisors, and external partners. Team player!
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation), interpersonal, organizational skill
  • Language: English essential, German preferred. Any additional language is an asset
  • Prepared to travel regularly based on business needs
