About the role
This role is not your typical EA job. We are searching for a highly organised, motivated and passionate EA or PA to play a key role in supporting the successful operational delivery of two T20 World Cups! This person will be responsible for providing high level administrative and project management support to the COO and the broader Operations team, whilst also overseeing the smooth running of the T20 World Cup office. We are looking for an experienced administrator who is excited by the opportunity to work in a fluid role and who can make a positive impact on team culture and morale.

In return, you will gain exposure to many of the operational elements of major event delivery and make a direct contribution in a tight-knit team delivering a Spectacular Celebration!

About you

  • You have proven experience in supporting a COO or senior executive, with a strong customer service focus and proactive approach 
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail and experience in formatting and finalising executive level correspondence, including Board Papers and letters, practicing a high level of discretion at all times
  • You have a friendly and proactive, yet patient, calm and understanding nature
  • You have proven ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and influence when required
  • You have an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude, and are passionate about challenging yourself 
  • You are highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite

Your extensive experience to date will have equipped you with the ability to create and deliver innovative solutions to help us deliver a Spectacular Celebration in 2020!

The ICC T20 World Cup is cricket’s ultimate prize in the fastest growing and most accessible format of the game. T20 is the vehicle to attract new, more diverse and younger audiences to the game.

In 2020, Australia has a unique opportunity to host this major global event – two World Cups in the same year!
