The Role

The purpose of the role The Sponsorship and Campaign Manager will be working on a tier one and high profile sponsorship assets (individuals and companies) in sport and gaming. Within their portfolio of assets, they’ll implement the sponsorship strategy, seeking to effectively utilise all rights and efficiently manage the budget. They will create integrated hands-on campaigns that appeal to existing and prospective customers ensuring every opportunity to promote the brand is maximized.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the CMO, you will have: 

  • Proven experience of managing major sports sponsorships, sports events, brand sponsorships or brand events 
  • Proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders internally and externally 
  • Devising & pitching activation ideas for consumer campaigns and events 
  • Excellent understanding of maximising televised brand visibility 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills 
  • Demonstrable ability to overcome obstacles and be proactive in finding creative solutions 
  • Excellent relationship building skills 
  • Excellent analytic skills 
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic and commercial thinking in rights activation 
  • Experience in delivering & devising multi-platform branding & engagement strategies for sponsorships It would be a bonus if you also had: 
  • Managing a major football club or event sponsorship 
  • Knowledge within the gaming space is also advantageous
  • Experienced in writing detailed design briefs 
  • Interest in Sports Industry 
  • Experience and competency in all marketing disciplines (ATL, BTL, Digital, Experiential, Media) 
  • An understanding of TV viewership metrics and how to evaluate 
  • Proven experience in managing online and social marketing campaigns (A-Z)
  • Ability to plan and execute online and social campaign goals, KPIS and track results 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing processes
