Job Description

Your duties

  • Leading the overall strategic development and implementation of FIFA 2.0 Strategy related to FIFA Ticketing & Hospitality matters
  • Insourcing of ticketing operation for the FIFA World Cup and creation of a new ticketing and hospitality sub-division for FIFA to serve all FIFA events
  • Establishing and implementing FIFA’s long term hospitality strategy
  • Managing level appropriate communication flow and reporting to senior management and members of the FIFA Ticketing AG board
  • Laying the foundation for the strategic development of innovative ticketing and hospitality solutions and providing ticketing and hospitality consultancy for FIFA’s Member Associations
  • Collaborating effectively and cross-functionally with management, product development, product management, marketing, finance/contracts and sales teams
  • Achieving financial growth and improving overall market position and strategic management of the dedicated Ticketing and Hospitality sub-division
  • Identifying and implementing best practices to increase efficiency
  • Proofing & improving FIFA Ticketing and Hospitality operations in a digital environment
  • Overall leadership and development responsibility of the dedicated ticketing and hospitality sub-division
  • Managing successfully a large and diverse team

Our requirements
  • Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in major event ticketing or hospitality functions
  • University degree or higher in a relevant subject area
  • Deep understanding of the event ticketing and hospitality industries
  • Extensive and successful experience in strategic event marketing and CRM management with proven expertise in management of major ticketing and hospitality programmes
  • Understanding of user experience design and track record of delivering products that customers are eager to use as well as understanding of the payment industry and technologies used in this domain
  • Ability to build and execute strategic roadmaps and business priorities
  • Conceptual thinking leading to innovative and ground-breaking strategies
  • Understanding of an international sports federation environment
  • Change management skills with an innovative approach to business development
  • Extensive experience of cooperation and collaboration within a matrix organization
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory- other FIFA languages such as Spanish, German or French are an asset
