The EURO 2020 Guest Services Operations Assistant assists with the planning and coordination of guest services and protocol operations at stadiums, supporting the Guest Services Operations Manager in producing operational documents, developing procedures and training documents, and ensuring that the on-site guest services teams are able to deliver a seamless, high-quality guest experience.

Purpose:

General and pre-tournament
- Producing stadium operations manuals to be shared with the protocol contacts of the participating national teams and host cities;
- Coordinating all logistical needs for guest services operations at stadiums and hotels, developing relevant procedures and manuals for guest management operations;
- Liaising with UEFA's Event Logistics team to understand delivery and dismantling procedures at stadiums and hotels in order to communicate with relevant team members;
- Coordinating the production and delivery of VIP headrests for stadium VIP sectors;
- Producing room layouts of various VIP facilities in stadiums for operational plans;
- Assisting with the production of volunteer manuals for VIP volunteers based at the stadiums;
- Coordinating shift plans and guest host numbers in liaison with guest host agencies;
- Coordinating requirements for guest hosts and volunteer logistics;
- Preparing relevant templates for on-site staff training;
- Adapting and cross-checking dot plans;
- Preparing relevant templates and manuals for venue operations;
- Preparing support documentation required by the on-site guest management and protocol teams at stadiums and hotels;
- Booking travel and logistical arrangements for on-site guest management and protocol teams during the tournament;
- Providing general administrative support to the guest management and protocol team;
- Attending site visits where necessary;
- Working on other events as required.

Event-time responsibilities
- Monitoring VIP logistical items to ensure that on-site teams at each stadium and HQ hotel have everything required to operate throughout the respective operational dates;
- Coordinating with guest host agencies and troubleshooting from a central location.
Requirements:

Experience required:
- from 1 to 3 years / in an administrative/logistics guest management role within the event industry
- less than 1 year / working on major sports events
- from 1 to 3 years / in event management

Education:
- Bachelor's in hospitality/event management
- Other customer service training

Languages:
- English / Proficient
