Talent Technical Coach (Women’s –North West Region) – 6 months FTC

THE ROLE
The post-holder will enhance and influence the development of young English female elite footballers contributing to the overall Strategy to build winning teams. They will deliver the strategy for the women’s talent development pathway including FA Regional Development Programme, Regional Talent Hubs and National Performance Camps.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To provide individual and specific onsite support and training for our talented players within their club environment.
  • To support the development of technical coaches within a Regional Talent Club (RTC) setting who are working with our talented players.
  • To manage, coach and deliver on Regional Development Programme (RDP).
  • To manage, coach and deliver on National Performance Camps (NPC).
  • To provide local Performance Hubs for elite players to access specialised S&C, Nutrition, Lifestyle and Educational support, in addition to technical delivery.
  • To support player audit meetings to case conference all players within the RDP & NPC programmes.
  • To provide support in building positive relationships for talented girls to train with boys where appropriate to support their developmental needs.
  • To work with International youth coaches to support the transition and development International players within the Talent Pathway.
  • Use an appropriate player management tool to track, monitor and report on elite players within the Talent Pathway.
  • To work in collaboration with a Regional Talent Reporter to ID players across the whole game.
  • Where other role commitments and accountabilities allow, potential opportunity to be Assistant Coach on occasions with the England Development Teams.
  • To contribute to the strategic direction of Football Development, as agreed with the Women’s Head International Women’s Teams and Divisional Directors, supporting the delivery of strategic milestones and goals
  • Be an advocate and ambassador for St George’s Park working with the team to ensure optimum environments for Club England
  • Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities

 

 

THE CANDIDATE
 

 

  • UEFA A Licence or FA Advanced Youth Award (or working towards completion)
  • Member of FA Licensed Coaches Club
  • Experience of working with elite female players and coaches
  • Experience of developing/teaching coaches
  • Demonstrable understanding of Women’s Elite Football
  • Understanding of The Future Game and elite girls long term player development
  • Experience of day to day budget management
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Experience of delivering presentations
  • Proficient Skills in Microsoft Office
