The Digital Media Project Coordinator is instrumental in delivering EURO 2020 digital media services on time and to the highest standards to unilateral broadcast partners, sponsors and UEFA community stakeholders.This engineering profile requires proven know-how and experience in digital asset management and digital broadcast workflow delivery. The candidates should have at least three years' experience in a similar position working on major live sports events.

The Digital Media Project Coordinator is responsible for designing and implementing the technical integration of EURO 2020 digital media and TV production workflows, setting up the operational systems at the venue and at the international broadcast centre (IBC), and supporting the takers of digital services on-site at the IBC for a period of two to three months.

Purpose:

* Gathering, modelling and analysing the business requirements for the EURO 2020 workflows to distribute live and near-live digital services with all the surrounding workflows (graphics, file delivery, football metadata, OTT services) subscribed to by EURO 2020 broadcasters;
* Being instrumental in the selection of technical suppliers,
* Designing the solution architecture within the UEFA Digital Hive ecosystem integrated with the EURO 2020 IBC;
* Coordinating the technical delivery of digital broadcasting workflows by the suppliers, mainly including venue contribution, digital content factory post-production, distribution to key stakeholders;
* Installing and setting up digital broadcasting equipment and systems at venues or the IBC;
* Testing digital workflows;
* Analysing and coordinating repairs of technical faults in equipment, workflows and systems;
* Monitoring and minimising loss of service when equipment fails by quickly identifying the issue then providing fixes or alternative workflows with the suppliers;
* Acting as second-level support for the UEFA Digital Operations team during EURO 2020;
* Maintaining equipment and workflows during the EURO 2020 tournament.


Requirements:

Experience required:
- from 4 to 6 years / experience working in a digital media and broadcast environment delivering technical solutions that include video production workflows, video publication and distribution applications and processes
- from 4 to 6 years / experience working with advanced digital video distribution models applied to major sports events
- from 4 to 6 years / experience working in an IT and broadcast environment

Education:
- Bachelor's IT or broadcast engineering degree
