Profile:

The National Associations Governance Manager provides assistance in solving problems within UEFA member associations, especially in cases of undue state, political or governmental interference in football affairs, and advices UEFA member associations in internal governance-related affairs (including statutory matters).

Purpose:

- Providing assistance in solving problems within UEFA member associations, especially in cases of undue state, political or governmental interference in football affairs;
- Dealing with the potential suspension of UEFA member associations;
- Assisting with the revision of the statutes of UEFA members associations;
- Organising, in cooperation with other UEFA units and stakeholders (European Club Association, European Leagues, etc.) regional workshops on good governance matters;
- Dealing with applications from the UEFA member associations for HatTrick V incentive payments related to good governance;
- Supporting the UEFA member associations in implementing at national level the good governance principles endorsed by the UEFA Executive Committee;
- Providing updates on member association governance-related matters at meetings of the UEFA National Associations Committee.

Requirements:

Experience required:
- From 2 to 4 years' experience as a paralegal, corporate or general lawyer
- From 1 to 3 years' experience in sports legal matters
- From 2 to 4 years' experience in an international environment

Education:
- Bachelor's in law
- Masters in sports management

Languages:
- English / Proficient
- French / Proficient
- German, and other EU languages an asset

Additional requirements:

- Ability to find solutions in a short time
