The Corporate Lawyer provides legal advice to UEFA and UEFA's subsidiaries on a variety of corporate legal issues, with a particular focus on UEFA EURO 2020.



In general and in the context of UEFA EURO 2020:
- Drafting and negotiating UEFA corporate contracts with service providers, UEFA member associations and other sports organisations;
- Providing legal support with regard to data protection regulations and their implementation;
- Providing legal support to the Human Resources Unit with regard to compliance with employment law, social security legislation and work permit requirements;
- Providing legal support with regard to visas and immigration issues;
- Providing legal support to other divisions within UEFA and UEFA's subsidiaries with regard to customs issues;
- Providing Swiss and international tax advice to other divisions within UEFA and UEFA's subsidiaries;

- Ensuring that UEFA's regulations, agreements and other documents comply with Swiss law;
- Providing legal support, research and opinions to UEFA and UEFA's subsidiaries on various corporate and contractual issues;
- Preparing records and legal documents for senior management;
- Handling statutory issues and corporate registrations;
- Providing legal support in corporate matters relating to the organisation of UEFA competitions and events;
- Providing legal support to event managers, UEFA member associations and European football clubs in Swiss corporate law and legal governance issues.


Experience required:
- At least 3 years as a corporate or commercial lawyer within an international organisation or law firm
- At least 3 years working in corporate and/or compliance issues

- Bachelor's in law
- Bar exam would be an asset

- English / Proficient
- French / Advanced
- Any other language is an asset

Additional requirements:
- MS Office / Advanced
- Good knowledge of Swiss law
