Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support the Consulting group in building the leading global management consulting practice in Sport, Media, Events, and Entertainment
  • Help development, sales and delivery of client consulting services
  • Provide the analysis for Valuation assignments and become an expert in Nielsen Sports Valuation methodologies
  • Formulate and test hypotheses, providing all relevant information and data
  • Utilize different datasets across the wider Nielsen business in order to provide strategic thinking to clients and translating insights into practical plans of action 
  • Collaborate with other members of the organization in developing their strategic agendas and executing their priorities/projects
  • Support the development of key documents including client proposals, as well as other strategic documents, ensuring the highest quality output

Ideal qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related fields or experience
  • Experience in a blue chip Management Consulting firm is required
  • Strong computer skills including advanced excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and passion for the sports and entertainment industries
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship skills with ability to adapt to different stakeholders
  • Demonstrated track record of providing strategic thinking to clients, including identifying, analyzing, problem solving, and responding to opportunities and challenges with the ability to translate into practical plans of action
  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively and persuasively, including ability to present in sales environment
  • Successful track record of juggling multiple activities, prioritize and working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
