In 2020, the UEFA EURO will celebrate its 60th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, the tournament will be played across 12 different European cities - bringing the EURO closer to the fans and celebrating the best of European football and culture. To make this all possible, we need fantastic, dedicated people in every area - which is why we are recruiting a EURO 2020 Recruitment Specialist to work in Nyon, Switzerland.
Acting in an efficient, competent, discreet and service-oriented manner, the EURO 2020 Recruitment Specialist identifies recruitment needs, clarifies job profiles, sources qualified candidates, organises interviews with short-listed candidates and advises the management as regards the final choice.


  • Identifying recruitment needs and clarifying job profiles with the respective hiring managers;
  • Sourcing, with a limited budget, as many qualified candidates as possible through different channels;
  • Organising and conducting first (Skype/Webex/phone) interviews with selected candidates and advising hiring managers about which candidates to shortlist for second interviews;
  • Advising the management as to the final choice of candidate;
  • Ensuring that the SAP recruitment system and the candidate database remain up to date;
  • Providing training and support to internal users of the SAP recruitment system;
  • Guiding and supporting the different stakeholders on recruitment, the job market, etc.;
  • Ensuring that the different recruitment tools are up to date;
  • Providing HR assistance when requested, responding to requests from staff for HR-related information;
  • Preparing relevant reports on recruitment processes;
  • Ensuring that all HR activities are implemented according to Swiss labour legislation;
  • Ensuring that the HR database in SAP remains up to date;
  • Preparing requested HR reports in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Organising, coordinating and conducting welcome days for new staff in collaboration with other members of the HR team;
  • Coordinating the various HR workflows (newcomers, employee life cycle and departures);
  • Working on other HR projects (after-placement, community management on the internal collaborative tool, LinkedIn, etc.).


Experience required:

  • From 4 to 6 years in human resources
  • From 4 to 6 years recruiting expertise, with extensive
  • Knowledge of recruitment channels in Switzerland and elsewhere in Europe
  • From 1 to 3 years in recruiting large in-house and project teams


  • Bachelor's in human resources or a similar field


  • English / Proficient

Additional requirements:

  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Knowledge of the European job market
  • MS Office / Advanced
  • Project Management / Intermediate
