The Digital Producer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Lords.org, including product development and analysis of digital activity.

They will work with the marketing team to improve the quality, reach and engagement of the Club’s content through data-led insights. 

Key Purpose of Role

To support MCC in the implementation of the digital strategy and management of digital channels.

The Digital Producer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Lords.org, including product development and analysis of digital activity.

They will work with the marketing team to improve the quality, reach and engagement of the Club’s content through data-led insights.  

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

  • Day-to-day management and monitoring of Lords.org.
  • Management of website agency and product development projects.
  • Monitoring, analysing and managing website traffic including customer journey and behaviour
  • Work with and under the direction of the Marketing and Digital Content Manager to ensure content and social media channels are performing to expected standards.
  • Drive forward the Club’s digital strategy and continuously seek to improve the digital customer experience.
  • Ensure key internal stakeholders and team members have a full understanding of social media goals
  • Monitor trends and encourage adoption of social media tools.
  • Develop and monitor the digital content calendar.
  • Work on campaign based digital marketing initiatives to drive revenues for the Club.
  • Work with the Commercial Partnerships team to encourage commercial activation for the Club’s key partners through digital channels.
  • Deliver formal and ad-hoc training and support to MCC staff in web content management systems and procedures, online publishing tools, information architectures, metadata, and writing for the web.

Variations of job relating to Major Matches

  • Attend at all Major Matches with extended hours as appropriate, including weekends.
  • Any other duties as required whether in the Department or elsewhere around the Ground.

Person Specifications, Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • Good working knowledge of Content Management Systems.
  • Have outstanding verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent project management experience.   
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience of running and monitoring social media channels.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience of presenting insights and analysis to senior management and external stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Appropriate professional qualifications.
  • Good knowledge of cricket.
  • Actively work to help improve standards across the Department.
