Profile:

The National Associations Governance Coordinator helps the National Associations Governance Unit to perform certain tasks and coordinate specific activities in relation to UEFA's 55 member associations as well as in connection with meetings of the UEFA National Associations Committee and other meetings and workshops.

Purpose:

  • Providing support in the analysis of the statutes of UEFA's 55 member associations;
  • Providing support in the organisation of UEFA National Associations Committee meetings (i.e. producing agendas, presentations, action lists, minutes and reports);
  • Coordinating the distribution of UEFA solidarity payments to all UEFA member associations;
  • Creating and maintaining databases for the National Associations Governance Unit and the National Associations Division, as well as managing the unit's files, archives and library;
  • Coordinating the attendance of UEFA representatives (administrative staff) at the annual general meetings of all UEFA member associations;
  • Contributing to the drafting of guidelines, circular letters and other documents produced by the unit;
  • Supporting the head of unit in providing assistance to UEFA member associations with regard to specific queries or projects;
  • Providing general administrative support where needed;
  • Providing the unit (or other colleagues within the division) with information about designated UEFA member associations on request.


Requirements:

Experience required:

  • At least three years' experience in an international sports organisation
  • From 1 to 3 years' experience dealing with regulatory/governance matters


Education:

  • Bachelor's In a relevant field, ideally law or political science


Languages:

  • English / Proficient
  • French / Advanced
  • Any other languages are a plus


Additional requirements:

  • MS Excel / Advanced
  • MS PowerPoint / Advanced
  • MS Word / Advanced
  • Good understanding of the structure and organisation of football
  • Diplomatic and able to work in a political environment
  • Able to communicate effectively and good networking skills
  • At ease working with databases and figures
  • Financial experience would be an asset
  • An interest/experience in football would also be an asset
