The Media Operations Manager leads UEFA's media operations across the organisation's various national team competitions (except for UEFA European Football Championship final tournaments) and will, in addition, support the UEFA EURO 2020 Media Services & Operations Manager before and during the tournament.


  • Leading media operations for the European Qualifiers, UEFA Nations League and centralised friendlies;
  • Planning and implementing media facilities and operations for the UEFA Nations League finals, UEFA European Under-21 Championship final tournaments and UEFA European Women's Championship final tournaments (Women's EURO);
  • Reviewing and/or formulating the relevant parts of competition regulations and operational guidelines;
  • Managing the UEFA media officer panel used across national team competitions;
  • Liaising closely with national associations, organising media operations workshops and providing advice and support documentation to them where required;
  • Taking care of project, staff and budget planning.

For UEFA EURO 2020, the Media Operations Manager will support the Media Services & Operations Manager in the following tasks:

  • Defining media facility requirements;
  • Planning media operations staff and volunteer needs and ensuring the necessary training;
  • Coordinating with the local organising structures and with other UEFA units;
  • Defining media policies and operational procedures;
  • Conducting media operations at qualifying and final draws;
  • Onsite operations in one or more assigned venues before and during the tournament.


Experience required:

  • more than 7 years' working in media operations in a sports organisation, preferably a football organisation.


  • Bachelor's in media studies or communications preferred
