Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead, develop and deliver high quality, evidenced-based prevention programmes that reduce the incidence of inadvertent doping and create opportunities for targeted interventions for those vulnerable to doping decisions, working in partnership with core stakeholders.

  • High level planning and monitoring ability with the capability of working to multiple tight deadlines within a time-pressured environment, producing high quality results
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with a network of key people internally and externally to achieve impactful results
  • Panel/Committee representation, ability to Chair meetings
  • Public speaking
  • Able to develop innovative solutions and use initiative in problem solving
  • Ability to balance and prioritise a demanding workload, remaining calm under pressure
  • Confident in networking, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with a range of personnel operating at various levels within an organisation, adjusting communication, style and approach as required
  • Able to cope in challenging environments, including delivering critical feedback with tact and diplomacy
  • Effective use of high level negotiating and influencing skills
  • Good attention to detail, high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to assess risk and take decisive action
