  • Contribute to the annual marketing plan and strategy for the international market segment 
  • Manage the marketing budget as per pre-assigned shared figures
  • Identify market/customer opportunities, execute against positioning strategy and develop supporting programs for the strategic initiatives
  • Play the leading role in developing promotional concepts and programs that are focused on supporting the Directors
  • Manage the marketing for various departments, events, Oman Sail programmes and initiatives, and also the planning and management of particular events (pre-assigned)
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor and client intelligence and develop appropriate strategies to optimize potential opportunities
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to Director of Marketing & Communication.
  • Collaborate with internal PR/creative/social media teams and any external marketing/advertising and media buying partners
  • Vendor /Dealer quality assurance
  • Manage the marketing, storage and distribution of promotional merchandise and point of sale material required for global market, including clothing, banners, flags etc.
  • Ensure Oman Sail’s websites are in line with the brand identity and guidelines
  • Manage the sponsorship programmes in accordance with Corporate Marketing objectives and guidelines
  • Manage the team members (as a line manager)

Skills & Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience in marketing & sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair
  • Strategic thinker with experience in planning, developing and launching of product/services
  • Previous experience working in a global marketing environment while working with different cultures
  • Previous experience working in a PR driven environment while providing marketing efforts.
  • Understand channels of marketing programs, PR, social media and all aspects of marketing that increase sell-through.
