Brand Activation Manager (m/w) PowerBar

This position is based in our office in Munich. The Brand Activation Manager position is an exciting new role, perfect for an ambitious and passionate Marketer, who wants to develop their career in the growing Sports Nutrition category.

The role of Brand Activation Manager will involve the following:

  • Roll out of the brand and communication strategy on a EU level in cooperation with relevant partners in the different markets in order to enhance PowerBar’s brand funnel and image performance
  • Being responsible for the successful execution of the yearly activation calendar, you lead the development and implementation of brand activation concepts (ATL & BTL) in cross functional teams
  • As PR key contact you plan all corresponding activities and take over the responsibility for the successful realisation
  • You monitor theVerkaus market as well as the competitor landscape and work with consumer insights to propose arising opportunities or address upcoming challenges
  • Besides steering agencies to deliver consumer centric and convincing results, you plan and manage the communication budget

Skills and knowledge of the ideal candidate include:

  • You have a University degree in business administration with major in marketing/sports and a minimum of 3 years experience either as a Brand Manager or in a creative role in a communication agency, predominantly with FMCG or protein brands
  • You are experienced with communication, developing the market and consumer insights and have a holistic knowledge of brand campaigns and their contact points 
  • You have a profound understanding of consumer journey and how to leverage the right touchpoints to maximize reach
  • You are proactive, tenacious and respond to challenges with pace and accuracy
  • You bring in strong analytical skills, with the ability to judge the delivery of agencies
