Job Description

The RFU have a great opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. Based at our Twickenham HQ, you will play a key role in driving the continuous development of the Finance function, whilst helping to raise our profile as a central point of contact across the business.

The role itself will have real variety, working across all areas of the business on some exciting projects that are currently taking shape. You will be responsible for a broad range of accounting activities, so the successful candidate will need to have:

  • Experience of statutory reporting and monitoring of financial and regulatory compliance
  • Proven ability to apply technical knowledge to business transactions
  • ACA or ACCA qualification, with two to four years PQE experience
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and practical application of FRS102, including conversions from "old" UK GAAP
  • Preparation of Group consolidations and statutory financial statements
  • Working knowledge of UK Corporation Tax and VAT
  • Excellent attention to detail
