Reporting to the General Manager Marketing, the Marketing and Fan Engagement Manager will engage fans via entertainment, value offers and unforgettable experiences to drive loyalty, membership and ticket sales from all Bulldogs customers.

The role has specific responsibility for the marketing at each Bulldogs home game and will assist with the integrated marketing of all business areas including leading the direct marketing/content plan for the CRM, delivering targeted campaigns and tactics to engage and grow the database. Importantly, this role ensures that fans are engaged across multiple touch points to include game day experiences and via social media communications.

To be considered for this role you will be tertiary qualified in marketing, communications, events or similar, with demonstrated all-round marketing experience including social media advertising across multiple platforms and the management of direct marketing strategies utilising a CRM database (ideally salesforce and marketing cloud). An understanding of fan engagement strategies, user metrics, product/customer segmentation and data analytics would be advantageous.

You will have a creative flare, with an ability to create engaging content and innovative strategies to leverage fan experiences for the Bulldogs brand and sponsors. You will be a quick learner with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the wider team structure is key, as is the capacity to build relationships and elicit cooperation from a diverse group of stakeholders including sponsors, members and volunteers.  A basic understanding of rugby league and/or a background in the promotion of major sporting events is highly desirable.

This is an exciting opportunity to engage new and long-term fans with the iconic Bulldogs brand, providing meaningful communications and “money can’t buy” experiences, inspiring loyalty, activity and membership growth.

This is an exciting mid-tier role offering lots of diversity and challenges. If you have what it takes we'd like to hear from you.
