Job Description

The Role

Lagardère Sports is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join the London team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Account Management; the primary focus of this role is to provide strong account management to one of our key partners by delivering value and meeting objectives

Responsibilities

  • Effectively liaise with and meet the reasonable needs of all partners and suppliers;
  • Develop and implement programs to build relationships with senior management;
  • Liaise with all relevant departments in the fulfilment of sponsor benefits (e.g. publications, media, broadcast, digital);
  • Conduct on-boarding and induction sessions for new sponsors;
  • Support sponsors in the development of their activation programs to activate ROI;
  • Develop sponsor marks usage guideline, in line cooperation with partner communications and marketing;
  • Conduct all brand approvals by sponsors, and maintain appropriate records of all approved and non-approved materials;
  • Manage the fulfilment of marketing rights
  • Marketing activation planning;
  • Facilitate the use of the brand and delivery of contracted rights and benefits;
  • Manage and support any upsell opportunities in collaboration with the Lagardère Sports sponsorship sales team
  • Ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Experience/knowledge

  • 4-5+ years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of the sports industry desirable;
  • Intermediate IT and social media experience
