“The RFU is an inclusive workplace with an extensive employee benefit package promoting a healthy lifestyle.”
As Area Manager for the Rugby Football Union I ensure that my diverse team of Rugby Development Officers, Community Rugby Coaches and Area Specialists work collaboratively to strengthen our clubs and be accountable for the delivery of local plans, targets and work programmes. Through building strong external relationships with government agencies including Local Sport England and County Sports Partnerships along with internal Constituent Bodies we deliver both national and local strategies to our member clubs.
Having worked for the Rugby Football Union over 12 years I do feel I am part of a dynamic, dedicated and valued team. Culture and values thread throughout the organisation creating a real collaborative passion to grow the game. Individually you have opportunities to improve and grow towards your personal development goals alongside business needs.
The RFU is an inclusive workplace with an extensive employee benefit package promoting a healthy lifestyle. The nature of my role means no one day is the same, providing me with a wide variety of challenges and opportunities. As an organisation working within an inclusive workplace broadens my outlook both in professional and personal life.
