GlobalSportsJobs partner The Austrian Sports Foundation (Österreichische Sporthilfe) supports more than 300 athletes - from young talents, handicapped athletes up to Olympic champions - through financial and non-monetary support. The non-profit association is under the “Go for Gold” patronage of the Federal President of Austria, Mr. Heinz Fischer and directed by a management board in which the current Austrian minister of sports, Mr. Gerald Klug is the chairman.
Each year they organise a successful annual charity auction, best known in Austria and Germany. Red Bull, Mercedes and other major companies are sponsoring some exclusive packages like a Formular 1 VIP Tickets for the GP of Monaco, a signed racing suit from skiing champion Marcel Hirscher and VIP-access to the “DP World Tour Championship” in Dubai.
In return for these offers the Austrian Sports Foundation organises a visibility of their partners on ebay (including logos and pictures). Additionally, the top 30 packages are promoted in Austria’s biggest newspaper “Die KronenZeitung”.
The proceeds are used by the Austrian Sports Foundation to support young talents in their athletic and personal development.
The auction will be held until May 14th on eBay. For more information please visit www.sporthilfe.at/auktion
